Murchison Falls National Park

Murchison Falls is a beautiful national park, and the largest in Uganda. It is located 190 miles north of Kampala about 5 hours from the capital. The park is the location of the famous Murchison Falls, where the waters of the majestic Nile River squeeze through a narrow gorge, only 7 metres wide, before plunging 141 ft into the waters below. The park is home to 4 of the big five, and many other wildlife species. Accommodation during the safari will be at the red chilli rest camp, situated in the middle of the National Park and as such frequently welcomes wild animals roaming through. You may be lucky enough to spot warthogs and hippos coming to graze. All meals will be at the rest camp or taken with us packed and are included during your stay. During our stay we will have a safari game drive on the north of the river, a boat trip along the Nile to the foot of the waterfall, and have a guided tour from the top of the falls.
